Short Bio
Monsterboy LIVES is a two-person indie rock band from Little Rock that delivers a full-bodied sound both in the studio and on stage. The husband-and-wife multi-instrumentalists blend soulful grooves, deep-register saxophones, and modern sound design, creating music for love-sick fools who carve their own path. Their sound—described as Florence and the Machine on muscle relaxers—draws from influences like Beck, The Black Keys, Morphine, and Timbaland, fusing indie rock, blues, and electronic textures.
Known for their immersive live performances, they seamlessly switch between instruments, crafting a dynamic show enhanced by self-designed lighting and visuals. Their music has been featured on Peacock’s House of Villains (2023) and NPR’s Arts & Letters podcast, with upcoming releases including two albums of music created for NPR and a new collection of original songs.
Beyond indie rock, they also create event-specific performances for Pride, Halloween, and intimate acoustic settings. Whether reimagining covers with soulful saxophones or crafting original music that resonates deeply, Monsterboy LIVES is for those who defy expectations and forge their own way.
