Indie Rock
The core show. Infused with historic American genres — blues, rock, Americana — and delivered by two people with a huge sound, ridiculously large saxophones, electronic production, vintage guitars, world percussion, and synchronized visuals. This is the experience people should walk away calling: “This is what Monsterboy LIVES normally is.” |

THE BACKROOMS
An immersive horror-music experience. Music made for the world of horror, strange fiction, and unsettling stories, brought to life through live performance, visual vignettes, unusual instruments, and experimental sound. Originally written around a horror novelist’s work, it evolved into a fully immersive live experience of its own. |

MORE MONSTERBOY EXPERIENCES ARE COMING
Some ideas are still being built.
Some are still ridiculous.
You'll know when they're ready.

WHAT MAKES IT A MONSTERBOY LIVES EXPERIENCE?
Every Monsterboy LIVES experience starts with music.
Then they build the world around it.
That can mean original songs, unusual arrangements, strange instruments, and a two-person band that somehow fills a room. Projected video, lighting, and visual storytelling treated as part of the performance rather than decoration.
Unusual instruments
Bass saxophones, vintage pieces, percussion, electronics, and whatever else finds its way into the Monsterboy LIVES universe.
Story
Themed experiences aren’t concerts with a concept stuck on top. The music, visuals, and performance are built around the world being created.
Immersion
The goal is a shift away from everyday life.
Sometimes that means dancing.
Sometimes it means staring at something bizarre.
Sometimes it means wondering why there’s a five-foot saxophone on stage.
